Why have I posted so much about the Carr Fire?

Because it is an Anomaly which is becoming more frequent around the world. It is an example of Global warming in action through fires and just how deadly they are becoming in California, the West, Greece and other places. The fact that it was able to start just from a flat tire on a trailer increases the insanity of something like this. In the past, big fires seldom came into cities north of San Francisco and Oakland and places like this. Normally, we see these kinds of fires in San Diego, Los Angeles or Orange County or in Malibu in the hills on the coast. We don't see this kind thing (until the last 10 years or so starting in Santa Rosa or Clear Lake let alone Redding.

Under present conditions you likely wouldn't see something like this from about Ashland,Oregon north, (at least along Interstate 5 because it is too wet most of the year for this all the way up into Canada. So, it would have to be Eastern Oregon where next you might see fires like this where it is drier. But from Interstate 5 to the ocean it is very wet usually from Ashland up through Canada along the Coast.
