Since we have lost more jobs from the Trade War than gained by a tune of 370,000 approximately, why are we having a trade war with China and other countries?
Trade is incredibly complex. For example, the Biggest BMW plant is actually in the U.S. on the East Coast. (The Biggest BMW plant on earth!). So, what this means in real time is that 10,000 Americans have jobs building BMWs at this plant. But, because of Trump, the Chinese who buy some of these BMWs are going to be paying Tariffs for steel from Germany and a tariff added by China on something made in America. So, how is Trump actually helping anyone at all? In other words these 10,000 Americans might actually lose their jobs because the Chinese won't be able to afford the Tariffs and the Americans who buy these cars will have to pay a 25% increase in price for ANY BMWs they buy from the steel from Germany!
Trump acts like Trade and Trade Wars are simple. Well, That might have been true 100 years ago but it isn't anymore. So, what reality does Trump live in? Not this one!
