15 August 2018 (USA) ... This contemporary romantic comedy, based on a global bestseller, follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu to Singapore to meet her boyfriend's family. ... Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Michelle Yeoh.

This movie is a really amazing ride where you likely will experience different things in some ways than you ever have before. Singapore is a very strange place because in some ways it would be like Tokyo but in other ways it is completely different. So, maybe it's sort of like Shanghai and Tokyo but is really it's own thing that's totally unique in the world sort of like Hong Kong.

People often forget just how rich many people are in places like Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai or Singapore or Bangkok or Seoul or other places in Asia. What we have in the U.S. is a really large middle Class but what other places have is a lot of rich people and a lot of poor people. But, the middle Class in many countries is growing now every day too. More people are educated of both sexes than have ever been now in the history of Earth which creates a stronger and stronger middle class where governments allow it.
