This has always been true as long as I can remember but even public figures are disappearing at an alarming rate around the world now. Former Russian Spies are being poisoned (several of them now) The Saudi with a Green card working for the U.S. press, cut up in pieces in Istanbul, Turkey in the Saudi Consulate there, Fan Bingbing disappears in China.
Now, these are all famous people that governments are getting away with killing or disappearing for whatever the reason. Imagine how many millions of less known or unknown people are being killed too along the way now because no one is standing up even for the famous in government, acting or reporters around the world?
IF Trump cannot stand up for the famous people dying it only increases the boldness of all nations killing people for any reason at all around the world and this makes every nation less free and less just, just from Trump not caring enough to stand up for human rights around the world at all.
101 journalists were killed while doing their job by the way just in 2015 around the world.
