The Law of Complexity can only get worse for each new generation of computer programmers. Why?

Because whether you uplevel to another language or you just compile groups of subroutines into bigger and bigger piles of resources to accomplish your goal, every single complexity not dealt with either through ignorance or omission or whatever will haunt all succeeding generations of programmers.

How can this problem be solved?

The problem might not ever be able to be solved completely to the satisfaction of everyone. This might be where we go with this to understand that software will be at least at imperfect as human beings and likely much more imperfect than human beings which will cause minor to massive losses of life ongoing as long as digital software is used for people's transportation devices of all kinds worldwide.

However, as I have said before if you teach the software which could be in the form of a computer or robotic in nature and give it direct experiences like you would a child or young adult you might eliminate some of the law of complexity in any given situation.

But, this is still not going to solve all problems of a software nature regarding complexity for obvious reasons.

So, as long as people expect people to die from software in cars and trucks and planes sort of like how we expect people to die like Musk said traveling to Mars and other planets then maybe the deaths will be more acceptable? Not Sure. It's true that there is no limit of young people wanting to be the first to Mars and maybe to die along the Way?

The story of the man in Florida in the Tesla watching Harry Potter movie in his Tesla Model S while he drove down the freeway only to be beheaded because his car's software mistook the semi truck for a road sign instead of what it was: a semi truck turning left in front of him on the freeway. So, this sheared off the man's upper torso and head and roof and windows of his Tesla.

These are the kinds of stories you are going to be hearing about for hundreds of years regarding Self Driving Cars but also self driving planes and trucks and trains and Ships as well.
