Believing in God

I think believing in God (beyond what anyone tells you) is from your personal experiences. I found that growing up I would have thought that most people believed in God like I did. I was wrong. For most people even in the 1950s and 1960s it was NOT about believing in God it was about making money and meeting a mate more than anything else even then. Most people never believed in God at all, they just said they did to get the church girls and to make money off of church going people as adults.

And this I have found to be true basically worldwide that people will lie to your face.

In some ways I like it better now where people (at least in the U.S. and Europe) can be honest about their true feelings about everything and not have to feel that they need to lie to people to get by, make a living and marry someone worthwhile and have kids.

But, I think the difference now is that people are just more honest with themselves and everyone else now than when I grew up.

Also, there is "man Speak" and there is "Woman Speak" and this was even more powerfully different in the 1950s and before than now.

There were things you could say ONLY around men and there were things you were forced to say "out of politeness" around women and children. It's always been this way.

But now, there is Gay Speak (various kinds) there is Lesbian Speak (various kinds) there is heterosexual Man Speak and there is Heterosexual Woman Speak.

It's become so confusing for everyone now that most people don't even know which end is up.

Recently, someone said to me: "Oh. Men don't get married anymore." And this was sort of news to me but I can see how this could actually be true, simply because it's too expensive to raise children now. So, getting married is one way to go bankrupt and to never be happy the rest of your life (if you aren't rich already).

And even I would likely choose not to have children now because I wouldn't want to be miserable the rest of my life in trying to provide financially for kids these days. It was much easier in the 1950s through 1970s and into the 1980s. However, by the 1990s all the social catch nets around the country no longer worked for children and so now it's a mess of epic proportions of women who had kids without men suffering incredible deprivation in today's world nationwide along with their kids too.

Anyway, the point I was actually trying to make here is Believing in God "should be" about your personal experiences with God and actually have nothing at all to do with any Church or religion.

Because religions are like languages that some people try to speak to God through.

However, you don't need any language really other than to be telepathic with God Directly in your direct experience with God. And NO ONE SHOULD EVER INTERFERE WITH YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God.
