I noticed the following and this was true in 2013 but by 2017 it was 100,000 visits a month. Then I got sick and had to be cared for by my son in Portland and his family for one month and I had to step back more from the blog and not put as much time into it after that. But, in 2013 sometime I had 158,000 visits at that point to this site. However, the more visits worldwide I got to this site the more I had to take more and more precautions to protect myself and my family. Most people are okay but some people worldwide are not okay. So, as you get more and more visits to a site you have to be mindful of this if you don't want some really serious problems in your life and your family's life.
At that time Blogger.com's counter would only go to around 2 million or 2 1/2 million and then it would go back to around zera and start over. So, I figure that I have had around 10 million visits to this site now since 2007 because of how many times the counter started over here.
If you want to have a lot of visits to your site you need to see what your readers want to read about and what you want to write and blog about. And the perfect spot is where your readers and your own interests intersect. This is the way to grow a website if you are interested.
