And I believe my wife and 2 daughters stayed in this section when we visited Paris in 2009 in the fall simply because it was close to the Louvre and buses and a subway and taxis to the Eiffel Tower or taking a boat down the River Seine that runs through Paris, France.
However, "Saint Germain en Laye" likely has nothing to do with the Ascended Master Saint Germain. I'm not entirely sure of why this area is called Saint Germain en Laye either.
By the way if you go to Paris do not miss Versailles. I think this impressed me more than almost anything about Paris. Also, Walt Disney was a World war I ambulance driver there for the U.S. Army and Versailles gave him the idea for Disneyland in Anaheim, California which was the first Disneyland built.
