Hope

If I look around me as an intuitive in my present awareness I have hope for life on earth and mankind. However, what I see coming many might not be able to adapt to so they might have various kinds of mental and emotional breakdowns. The older and more staid they are in their thinking the more likely they are just going to lose it completely in the coming weeks, months and years of life here on earth.

But, when I look into the future I see hope especially for younger people who are open and intuitive and adaptive enough to find a way forward no matter what through any kind of storm.

They might not know that they are capable of surviving any storm on earth that comes but they are capable just like you and I were in the 1960s and 1970s and 1980s of surviving those storms in my youth. Those of you born since 1980 have seen the storms of 9-11, Trump, middle eastern wars, genocide of all religions in the middle east by primarily (Self described) Sunni Muslims but I likely wouldn't call those who kill every religion in the Middle East maybe but Sunnis anything other than terrorists who likely might need to be eliminated from the earth. But, they seem to be eliminating themselves faster than thought already by any means possible too.

So, in the long run I see hope for young people this century. But, it is a life that you and I might have never thought possible before because it is so very different than anything any of us have lived in the 1950s through the 1980s in the past.

So, once again I say, "Hope Springs Eternal if we Die Daily".

If you carry all the shit we all carry long enough it is going to kill you. So, dying daily is the only long term way to survive and to have hope.

Otherwise, you are just going to Od one day and drive your car off a cliff or something.

You have to find a way to forgive yourself and all others and let it all go.

Otherwise you are going to be over pretty soon anyway.

Hope

I hope for the end to polarization in our country. The country was polarized like this when Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th 1941.

So, I'm hoping that we join together as a nation before we all kill each other in the present polarization during this election cycle.

I don't think I've seen anything except for this election cycle more dangerous to our ongoing democracy's existence since I became aware of things like President Eisenhower being elected by watching my granddad's new 1952 big Black and white TV. We watched the Primaries and the election on TV because most people didn't have TVs in 1952.

So, I'm hoping we find a way to join together as a nation before our nation is destroyed this time too.

Hope

There is always hope for mankind. Even when you look at places like the Middle East Today and see groups like ISIS killing almost everyone there, still this is limited to only the Middle East (at least for now). Most places on earth people are getting along relatively well. Likely the biggest problems humans are actually dealing with is Global Climate Change and overpopulation. And the biggest long term damage is actually done by extreme droughts in 3rd world countries.

People talk about the droughts in California but it must be remembered that more millionaires live in places like Silicon Valley than anywhere else on earth. So, even though everyone isn't wealthy in California a lot are and so there are more resources financially to solve most of California's problems even in a drought by hauling water from places where there is water even if it is desalinated water from the oceans.

So, it is important to remember even if thousands to millions are dying in something like another World War II in one area on earth it is not happening everywhere on earth. So, most people are relatively okay even in places like California where the drought is the worst in 100 to 500 years there already. There are enough resources to haul water or to pipe water from somewhere so people can take showers and wash their dishes and clothes and there is enough money for bottled water so people can have clean water to drink as well.

However, droughts in 3rd world nations are another story entirely, so food and water often are a real problem there during droughts.

But, there is always hope for mankind. Somehow, some of us have made it through the worst wars and calamities of Earthquakes, Tsumanis, floods and droughts etc. on down until now. I don't think the human race is in any danger of going extinct unless it is through a combination of overpopulation and global climate change within the next few hundred years.

And even then likely would would see wars over food and water and oil like now in the middle east which would (even then) thin out world populations back down to a sustainable level.

The only thing I can think of that would permanently end hope here on earth would be nukes that totally blew up the earth so all life was gone forever.

So, have hope. As long as we can keep from nuking the whole place out of existence there is still hope for mankind to go on. Some of us will persevere through anything.

Hope

If you look around it appears that hope is in short supply everywhere. But is it? I find that the more difficult life gets the more hope (and help) is actually available. But, you have to ask for it.

So then, asking God for hope in your lives is useful worldwide in times like these. I often think times like these happen so people "WILL" ask for help and that God plans it this way.

I don't think God wants people to suffer. I just think he wants us to get used to asking for what we need. This seems to be the way it actually works.

This way you learn that the Government isn't your source. Your Job isn't your source and only God in the end is your only source of life in the end.

But this is just my observation of my experience over the last 64 years or so.

So, anyway, last night I got pretty depressed having to take 4 prescription medication every day now and feeling sort of strange from all of them. So, I got discouraged last night and as I was going to sleep asked for "Angels of Hope" to come into my life as I needed them.

It's funny how at those kinds of moments odd or unexpected thoughts come into your mind and I remembered the name of the street that my parents church that they were in charge of was on Hope Street in Los Angeles and then I felt the presence of Angels of Hope.

So, when I woke up this morning the sun came out and I felt good enough to get out a ladder and to paint some of the eves of my house above my redwood deck in the back yard that I hadn't finished completely yet (even though the front part of my house is immaculately painted in a really great way by my daughter's boyfriend this summer).

So, as I was painting I was grateful to God for giving me hope. Then I had to see one of my doctors today and she agreed with me that while I was taking this many medications that I shouldn't have another colonoscopy even though I already had two one 10 and one 12 years ago until I am on the present medications at least 4 to 6 weeks. This gave me hope too that my doctor agreed with me.

There are only so many variables that a person can deal with in life at once. So, now I am hopeful because I don't have to have another colonoscopy for a month or more. Thank God!

By the way, 12 years ago during my very first colonoscopy they found a pre-cancerous polyp and used one of the wire loops on the colonoscopy device to snip it off. So, understanding that having done this it saved my life I am also saying that I'm alive now because I had the first one 12 years ago.

And they recommend having one every ten years at least after you start having one to eliminate the possibility of colon cancer. Before they did this colon cancer was almost always fatal.

So, we have many things to be hopeful about. Hope is there but you might have to pray to get it.

So, praying is useful but good medical care is also useful if you like staying alive.

God Will Find a Way

I had a bunch of other stuff here but found it superfluous after about 12 hours or so. So I deleted it. However, I still wanted to share with you what lifted my spirits this morning after a very difficult night.

As I woke up this morning I found myself and my angels saying together:

God Will Help YOU
God Will Find  YOU
God Will Find a Way

And I found it gave me Hope. So I thought I would share this idea with you. By repeating this simple prayer phrase hopefully this will lift your spirits and empower your lives as well.

Hope

Hope is relative to where you grow up on Earth. Just to demonstrate the extremes of hope. For example, in America, one family might be so rich and prestigious that a child growing up, if that child doesn't eventually become President of the United States all hope would be lost. Whereas in a third world nation the hope might be that the child survives to even go to grade school.

I ran into this while traveling in India and Nepal in 1985 and 1986. Since it is now 25 years later obviously everything has changed. But I will use my experience then as how different things can be on Earth than the U.S. from 1950 until now.

When my family and I did a trek on foot into the Helambu area of Nepal about 5 hours by bus then from Kathmandu, we got off the bus then near a river after bouncing around inside a dusty little bus with no real windows. In fact, there were not even seats because of the variety of people and goods it carried from time to time. We got off at the end of a little dirt road where the trail up into the Himalayas began next to a river coming out of the Himalayas a little distance away from the Tibet and Nepal border. The first people we met tried to give us their beautiful 15 year old daughter to take back to the U.S. but they were local tribespeople and were not educated in the ways of the world. Even if we wanted to take their beautiful 15 year old daughter with us, we couldn't have because people in this area would not have a birth certificate which would be necessary for any kind of passport. So, because they couldn't speak English we pretended we didn't know what they wanted. So, they thought we were rejecting their daughter and the whole tribe got offended. Later, we met many of them and they swore at us all along a trail for not taking the daughter. We never found out what the back story was. Maybe she was pregnant or didn't want to marry some old man. I don't know. But just because we couldn't take her with us, somehow it offended the whole tribe.

Hope is a very different thing all around the world and wouldn't even make sense to most of us living in the U.S. in regard to what people are actually hoping for. I knew a lady who told me that her ex-husband came from the middle east and believed the U.S. streets were paved with Gold. And nothing other than coming here could convince him otherwise.

When I was in India and Nepal, maybe 1000 people asked me to take them to the U.S. when I returned. There were only about 2 of these people that I considered seriously, because most had only "the streets of the U.S. are paved with gold" kind of thoughts about the U.S. which were completely unrealistic. And there was a very intelligent Tibetan young man who followed my family, named Deshek by bus to our next pilgrimage trying to get me to take him to the U.S. but I knew he was just too idealistic and not worldly enough to really understand what coming to the U.S. would really mean. Likely, it would have just been a complete cultures shock for him. Even the Tibetan Lama's English translator who was about 25 from Darjeeling came to the U.S. who was raised fairly wealthy didn't like the U.S. You will never guess what his main complaint was. He didn't like not being able to bribe people to do anything he wanted at any time. In India money could buy literally anything at that time. He also didn't like the fact that hiways moved faster than 25 mph because in India at that time because of all the people walking bicycles, motorcycles, horse carts, water buffalo walking on the roads, ruts in the roads, there were NO roads where anyone sane went faster than 25 mph anywhere unless they died or mowed down people or animals doing it. That was just the way it was in India in 1985 and 1986.

So, hope is relative to what you are used to and how you are educated. The loss of hope in the U.S. is pretty scary for me to witness now in the deepest longest recession since the Great Depression. And I don't know if the 8 million people who lost their jobs will ever find full employment ever again. But if you want to change you point of view go to a 2nd or 3rd world nation and talk to the people about what they think is going on and about their hopes. I think it would really blow your mind. In many of those countries their hope is just that they are alive tomorrow and that someone doesn't rape or shoot them tonight.

So, if you live in the U.S. take hope. It could be much worse. WE still live in one of the safest places on earth. At least there still is safe food to eat here even if you have to go to a soup kitchen to find it.

Whereas unrequited love even though it can be an aspect of hope is something actually different. Unrequited love appears to affect about 98% of all humans at some time during their lives so in this sense it is an almost universal experience.

Wikipedia lists some poems about unrequited love. Since I found them interesting I thought I would share them. The first in "Anacreontiques" by Abraham Cowley, the second by Robert Burns called "Anna"

Hope

Hope was lost when the Stock market Crashed in 1929. Hope returned in 1945 when World War II ended. Hope was lost again during the Cuban Missile Crisis, President Kennedy's assasination, Robert Kennedy's assasination and Martin Luther King's assasination and hope didn't return until Nixon left the White House. When the Cold war ended and the Berlin Wall fell and the Eastern European peoples began to be free once again hope got better. When Clinton was elected Hope got the best it had been since 1945 until the Cuban Missile Crisis. However, on September 11th, 2001 hope ending was such a shock after such a decade of hope during the late 80's and 90's that people around the world felt like they all had mild Post traumatic Stress disorder at the very least.

Somehow tonight, hope returned for planet earth. Many of us thought hope was completely gone after the past few months and the really awful years since 9-11. Those of us alive long enough hadn't seen such craziness worldwide since the Cold War and the Viet Nam war that tore the soul from America.

However, somehow tonight, America got it's soul back just for a moment. Everyone could die tomorrow but somehow the world will sleep easier tonight. Not just America but the whole world. History is in the making and Hope is ALIVE. "Keep Hope alive" Each of us Citizens of Planet earth must find a way to Keep HOPE ALIVE!
