My wife is reading a book in which this date is very important. Though it is a fictional novel still it is using science which recognizes this year as the year when a large Meteor hit in the Hudson Bay and caused severe flooding of North America, Europe, and Northern Asia as a result. It is a likely date of Noah's Ark, Atlantis sinking and even a timing for the red sea parting for Moses since the water effects of this strike were less coming up the back side of Africa toward the Red Sea. However, all farms in Europe and North America and almost all people living in North America and Europe likely were drowned by the deluge that occured from this huge meteor Strike into the Hudson Bay of what is now Canada.
Another of the results of large movements of water is that the English channel permanently separated what is now England and Scotland from the European Mainland.
Another interesting fact about this time is that the superstition found around the world about comets and meteors being a harbinger of evil events mostly originated from this large meteor strike in 7120BC.
So, likely, at least in the northern hemisphere all farming below 3000 to 5000 feet in elevation likely ended for a time just because all those farmers were killed by the rushing waters in the norther hemisphere. So mountains for a time became Islands like the Rocky Mountains and the Swiss Alps and the people who resettled the land after all the plains and farm people died came from the mountains where they lived before and during the deluge.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
