Saint Catherine of the Miraculous Medal

Full-size image

If you click on the image above you will see the non-decomposing body of Saint Catherine who is in this glass case in Paris at 160 Rue Duc Bac in Saint Germain en Laye which is a named section of Paris near the Bon Marche Department Store there. I went there last October 2011 with my family and this was an amazing experience to find out that she was so near to where we were staying at the Hotel De Suede. So, we found out we were within walking distance of Saint Catherine's place were she received a visitation from Mary the Mother of Jesus. She was told by Mary to strike a miraculous medal which is now worn by millions around the world. I started wearing my gold miraculous medal just before I got married. I had worn a silver one the previous year and noticed how miraculously my life had changed and so I decided to wear a miraculous medal the rest of my life on a gold chain. If you click on the top where it says full-size image you will see the non-decomposing body of Saint Catherine Laboure who was born on May 2nd 1806. She died in 1876 and was buried until 1933 when she was dug up and her eyes were as blue as they had ever been in life and her body had not decomposed at all which is one of the signs of a Saint. This was witnessed by thousands of people then in 1933. She is still in this glass case in Paris today. I saw her last October 2011 with my family. As we walked in many angels came to me to share how to behave there. I was amazed to experience this as this is exceptional and amazing  for anyplace on earth.
