Rain
The rain here in California was good to see. When I walked with a friend and my dogs through the forest I was happy to see enough rain to make rivulets moving in the dirt which was a good sign that it had soaked the ground enough to make rivulets down dirt roads and trails too. As I woke up this morning and even though the day is bright and clear and sunny, still my redwood deck is still wet with the moisture and all the plants and trees are happy and sort of breathing a sigh of relief from the long long drought of not enough useful rain, (especially the last month or so). The rain has moved off to the East now and into other states.
