The problem with Facebook Messenger on your smartphones in the future

My daughter was telling me about this last night. She learned that the new facebook contract (that many people just click on without reading it) is really dangerous in a new way.

It basically says that it has the right to turn on your camera and take pictures or videos of whatever is going on around your smartphone at any time and the same way with your microphone. It also says it has the right to contact your friends that you email.

I'm told this hasn't gone into effect yet but because of the knowledge that it was coming, my daughter was getting rid of Facebook Messenger on her phone even though she liked using it.

It sounds like companies are now  putting things in these contracts that people click on and just trust the companies to click on.

Maybe people have to stop trusting clicking on things without getting a lawyer and reading the fine print!

Just a thought!

In other words if they turn both your camera and microphone on (AT ANY TIME) they could watch and listen to just about anything including X-rated videos with sound of you and someone else or business conversations or even things you might be talking about that you don't want anyone to know about in your family especially some company that isn't going to honor you in any way (and legally doesn't have to if you click on the wrong thing(S)!

The problem is all governments and criminals are going to do this 24 hours a day without your permission. However, Facebook Messenger is just asking your legal permission to do this so when you find out you can't sue them because you already clicked on the fine print so they can do anything they want with this information for hundreds or thousands or years if they want. And this is the reality for all of us today here on earth.

So, once you click on this in the next weeks or months (unless they change this policy) you will never ever be able to take them to court no matter what they do with these pictures, videos, (even x rated ones) for hundreds of years long after you are dead and embarrassing or harming your grandchildren with this information, videos etc.
