Why NATO isn't in IRaq yet

I was listening to a lady interview the outgoing head of NATO from Denmark today on the BBC through XM satellite radio ( I also get a radio version of CNN tv and Msnbc tv also there while driving anywhere in the U.S. by Satellite)

What was clear to me from this interview is why NATO isn't in IRaq yet. The primary reason is Russia's incursions into Crimea and Ukraine and this lady was ruthlessly attacking the outgoing head of NATO and blaming him for the loss of Crimea.

However, I think her point of view is a little naive. It was like she didn't seem to comprehend old Cold War Nuclear Tactics of "Sphere of influence" to prevent an all out war of nuclear annihilation of all mankind which is a game of "Chicken" Putin is now playing with the world and not caring if the world "nukes out" suddenly one day from his ongoing actions.

So, in this Putin sort of has a "Death Wish" I think. This is one way to view all this.

So, the lady was going on about how the KGB like (now FSB) actions are actually more harmful than the military goings on in Crimea and Ukraine. And she asked whether NATO was responding to this.

He said, "Yes." They are aware of all this and are fighting back with similar methods using Sanctions and propaganda and economic warfare of all kinds. (Though from my point of view NATO is not presently as effective as Russia because of old KGB experience during the Cold War that ended in 1991 which Putin was a Colonel in then in the 1980s.

So, Putin is a complete expert at "Bait and Switch" and all the lies used in various ways to do whatever you want to when you have the level of power that he now has.

However, the U.S. and NATO to some degree also fights like this too, especially the U.S. through the CIA, NSA, FBI and all the other more secret groups we use worldwide to protect the U.S. in every way ongoing.

But, unless NATO becomes much more efficient at this type of warfare nation after nation is slowly going to be gone sort of like a disease one by one over time.

If Russia attacks a NATO member it becomes something way more serious at this point if and when that happens worldwide.

But, this is why NATO isn't in Iraq.

I'm beginning to think this was always part of Putin's strategy. What he really wanted wasn't Syria, what he really wanted was to keep Crimea and Ukraine and now to rebuild the old Russian Empire once again by any means necessary. In otherwords to him, "The ends justify the means" whatever they are. Having already killed over 250,000 in Chechnya already over the years while he was in power another 250,000 to 1,000,000 or more in Syria and Iraq is just a drop of blood in the bucket so to speak. So, ultimately the bloodbath in Syria and now Iraq I say is primarily caused by Russia's and Iran's interference in Syria.

However, who is helping the U.S. in IRaq in various ways now is Australia and Great Britain who also have a vested interest in their not being complete chaos there for the next 100 years or so worldwide because of genocide and the lack of oil for the whole world.
