It is hard to think this way but it is still true. China isn't busy beheading everyone they meet so it is hard to compare China and ISIS but I think it must be done.
China is in an arrogant position as a government. It is experimenting with it's new found wealth which the U.S. (whether it wanted to or not) helped create since Nixon and Kissenger formed an economic alliance with China in the 1970s.
So, even though this made China an economic powerhouse now and detente prevented a world war with China and Russia so far, now we need to look at China and decide how the western world wants to deal with China in the short and long run.
Right now we are just too focused on the ISIS threat and too little focused on what China is doing by building islands out of undersea sand and putting military personnel and weapons there one by one.
Somehow, China's aggressive stance of building out into the water and telling everyone else to leave in other countries territorial waters needs to be confronted. Otherwise, China will eventually be building islands 20 miles off the U.S. Pacific Coast too and by then it might be too late to stop them.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
