Is "Bulletproof Monk" a Comic Book?

1. My wife and I were having a disagreement where she said "Bulletproof monk" was Tied into Daredevil and the part Jennifer Garner played. I'm still not sure whether it's connected to "Daredevil" or not or the part Jennifer Garner played but it definitely is a comic book.

   Here is the movie: I wanted to watch it and so DVRed it so I could watch it again.
