Though it is only a couple of hours from where I presently live on the coast, usually when I visit San Francisco I stay with my wife in a hotel, (even though one of my daughters lives there and goes to college there.)
So, my youngest daughter's birthday (21) was this week so my older daughter, and my wife and I each came in from different directions to San Francisco to celebrate my younger daughters birthday. Also my older daughter is only born 3 days earlier than my younger daughter so in a way we were celebrating both birthdays at the same time.
My younger daughter is busy studying now, so often we only see her at most once a month or once every few months now which is difficult for my wife because this is our youngest. However, this is real life and not a fake life so we live with it.
It was a clear and sunny day after driving through what looked like storm clouds to get here but by the time we got here or even halfway here it was sunny 101 had about 6 accidents showing up on the GPS at Google Maps so we diverted over to 85 and 280 to avoid all the accidents even though this route is a little longer but also more picturesque up against the coastal range and nearby Stanford University.
Tonight the fog came in and it was more difficult to drive in but also Fog is something you often have to expect, especially at night in San Francisco too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
