The problem from my point of view is not Trump. It is actually the technological Singularity that humans have never experienced before (at least not in recorded history of the last 10,000 to 15,000 years).
So, we are completely unprepared for what we are presently experiencing.
If we wanted SANITY we would have to GIVE UP all smartphones, Ipads, laptops, desktop computers completely. This would be the ONLY way to sanity now.
But, barring that be prepared for a level of insanity that make World War I and II a walk in the park.
It really doesn't matter whether you are left, center or right in your thinking worldwide. We are in for it in a way that is horrific to contemplate now.
May God have Mercy on all of us---
