For a long time now the U.S. Government has been warning people about built in SpyWare tied directly to the Chinese secret agencies using these smartphones to "Spy" on people all over the world and gathering "Unlimited" information on them done specifically through Huawei Smartphones now sold around the world.
However, to be realistic IPhone and Android smartphones (and all smartphones) also spy on people worldwide (for almost every government on earth) as well as many of the richer criminals on earth as well.
However, China is "going the extra mile" sort of like they do in China where people have no freedoms (even to breathe) if it doesn't make the Chinese Government happy in some way. So, having a Huawei Smartphone might be like taking a gun to your head and putting a gun to the heads of your wife and all your children as well (if we are comparing things in a realistic way here).
Because of this it doesn't surprise me at all that the CFO of Huawei (the daughter of the founder) has been arrested in Canada for extradition to the U.S.
