Arizona is very different than most other states in Republicans, Independents and Democrats

Here is the breakdown from PBS NEWSHOUR today Friday December 9th 2022:

Republicans 35% of Arizona

Independents 34% of Arizona

Democrats 31% of Arizona

When you understand that Vermont and Arizona are both states with a lot of independents you might understand this better. However, the Independents likely are very different in Vermont (who vote for Bernie Sanders) to the independents in Arizona.

So, the ones in Arizona might vote for Sinema or not now she is a declared independent  U.S. Senator. However, Arizona as you can see is very unique as states go in this respect.
