I do not think that artificial Intelligence can be controlled.
However, I do think it can be managed sort of like how a herd of cattle can be managed.
In other words every so often something might set them off and you might have a stampede and people might die who are in the way of this stampede.
But, I think the herd of cattle analogy might be the best at least for this century.
However, by next century it is anyone's guess where all this is going.
For example,
"You don't know what you know until you know it"
Which is why older more experienced people tend to make better decisions than younger people.
So, we will only know what happens when it happens and we might not be able to actually prepare for it just like all other aspects of life.
