We are expecting Rain by Midnight tonight until 10 am tomorrow here near San Francisco

We have had very little rain since Hurricane Hilary came up from Mexico and became Tropical Storm Hilary and wiped out with I think 10 inches of rain the Palm Springs area through mud and flooding in I believe July or August of 2023.

So, the rain tonight and tomorrow morning is very welcome. But, this is the easiest Fire Season we just came through that I can remember in a really long time partly because of Hurricane Hilary and Tropical Storm Hilary also.

So, the rain is very welcome (at least at this point).

We are experiencing 10 miles per hour winds at present as the storm moves in but still 65 degrees and mostly full sun still too. So, still great weather even though it is a little windy and gusty now. But, strangely enough the wind will die down to around 6 to 8 miles per hour during the storm which is really surprising for any storm off the Pacific Ocean. Often we can get winds off the ocean of 50 miles per hour or more with gusts higher from now until April or May.
