If you want to really save the environment with an all Electric car the only real way to do this is if you have solar or wind generators at your home

Why?

Because in California at least over 50% of electrical generation is from Natural Gas not solar or wind or geothermal. So, the ONLY way you can really say you are saving us from Global Climate changes is if you are ONLY charging up during the sunlight or when there is wind (if you have Windmill generation out in the country). I suppose some of you might have water impellers whose property is next to rivers as well.
