I heard this on the news tonight which is interesting. I wonder if she might run as an independent or even become the Republican nominee for president if Trump goes down in flames during the next week? IF he doesn't do a Chapter 13 personal Bankruptcy or a Chapter 11 Corporate Bankruptcy I don't see how all this ends well for Trump. And even in a Chapter 13 personal Bankruptcy all your debts are paid (for most people about 10 cents on the Dollar I heard). So, instead of 500 million dollars he might owe only 50 million? Not sure this works this way in a fraud case. Just like student loans have to be paid in full too in a Chapter 13 personal Bankruptcy. But, what sometimes happens is that any interest accruing goes away the day you file so the 100,000 to 150,000 dollars interest every day might go away once he files for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. But, we will have to see actually what he actually does.
For example, he could borrow 500 million from the Saudis or Egypt or Putin or Xi or the leader of North Korea for example, but eventually everyone is going to find out where the money actually came from.
In an election year every secret tends to come out sooner or later. This is just how it is in reality.
