My Daughter took me here because she had been to a conference here and her favorite Thai restaurant is here in the Portland region which we went to. It is sort of a lot of upper end retired people in a very beautiful setting south of Portland. It is one of Portland's suburbs to the south on Interstate 5. It is on the side of a river which we went down to near a beautiful park it seems almost no one knows about. We walked down to a pier for boats to dock and saw many going up and down the river there: speedboats and very fast fishing boats most of which were open and moved at about 20 knots it looked like to the north and south of where we were. My daughter's friend pointed out Red Elderberries which i had never seen before but I think this variety you can't eat. I have eaten elderberries off a bush before in Mt. Shasta in the past and they were a different color. (the ones you can eat). These I think were the ones I was eating in the wilds years ago around Mt. Shasta which are purplish in color.
