Why?
My thought as an intuitive that is 70 years old who has traveled all over the world would be this:
I think too many millions of people who were both white and Republican completely freaked out by having Obama (a man with a black father from Africa and a white Mother from the U.S.) as president
for 8 years time.
This being completely freaked out caused Trump to become president and Trump's father was KKK and was even arrested in the late 1920s for beating up Catholic cops in New York City as a member of the KKK.
So, this freakedoutedness of white racists makes having ANY kind of blog that does politics (right, left or middle) dangerous now.
It reminds me of the Democratic Convention in 1968 when I was 20 years old and hundreds of people were hit with billy clubs by police in Chicago in demonstrations around the convention.
Only this time it is freaked out Rightests rather than freaked out leftests freaking out.
My daughter returned other day from Germany and said she felt safe there but when she landed here the air was electric (like lightning was about to strike) and I feel the same thing.
We are very close to "blood in the streets" here in the U.S. caused by Fake News from all directions (but mostly from Russia).
And this is very very sad for everyone in the U.S. (left, middle and right).
So, I'm stopping blogging partly because of this. Because it isn't safe to blog anymore about politics here in the U.S.
It's better to be safe than sorry later.
