The Carr Fire inches closer each time the winds hit to Castle Crags

With the Above URL you can see this for yourselves.

Also, if you minus out far enough you can then use the plus sign (also on map) to zero into any fire in the western United States by slightly moving the map to that area as you hit the plus sign on the map drilling down on whatever fire you want to study. This is from Satellites designed to help firefighters all across the country know where the fires are going in real time.

Also, for example, the Mendicino Complex fire (which is many fires that joined together near Clear Lake (which is also the biggest fire in California history is to the south and also west of Interstate 5
from the Carr fire a few hundred miles. By the way I just read that Yosemite National park is supposed to open up again Tuesday. But, I would check with rangers still because I noticed there is still fire nearby Yosemite Valley on fire map.

Also, if you go to Google Maps and then drill down on Yosemite Valley and then click on "TRaffic" you are going to see like I just did that several roads are closed (like you can't get passed El Portal into Yosemite Valley at all. Like you cannot get from the Crane Flat Gas Station on 120 down into the Yosemite Valley because that road is closed. It might be open from Mono Lake up over to Crane Flat and from Crane Flat out 120 to Big Oak Flat Yosemite park entrance and out that way but you cannot go from Crane Flat down that scenic Road down to Yosemite Valley or El Portal and out that way. (according to Google maps)  But if things go okay with the fires it might all open up by Tuesday.
