accelerometer sensor on a Smartphone

What is smartphone sensor? - Definition from WhatIs.com

  • An accelerometer detects acceleration, tilt and vibration to determine movement and orientation.

IF I have this right an accelerometer is what gives us traffic whether it is green, yellow, or red on our Google Maps here in the U.S. so we can predict what traffic is right then anywhere in the U.S. by knowing this we know whether to get into our vehicles or not for driving anywhere at that time of day. We also might find alternative routes to lessen traffic in a specific place. by doing this we help not only ourselves but also all other drivers have less traffic to drive through on whatever road they might be on. Also, an accelerometer would denote which direction we are walking and our specific location within 2 feet whether we are walking, running or riding a bicycle or motorcycle or in a plane or whatever. One could also denote by the speed of the accelerometer whether one was in a plane or likely a car or bicycle or motorcycle also by this sensor built into your cell phones and smart phones.

note: I tried to display here the accelerometer word but it just made the whole page gibberish. So if you wish you can click on this button now to take you there.
