I'm not sure about this.
One of the biggest problems we presently deal with now on earth is ignorance of at least 75% of the people regarding basic scientific truths. However, it's a double edged sword now because of Truman and Eisenhower's decision not to tell mankind about UFOs some of which (actually many of which are our relatives). So, will humans survive the ignorant mistakes they are presently making?
Most humans at some point will not. We already see the beginnings of this in Global Climate change caused by an excess of CO2 in our atmosphere AND whatever Other scientific truths are hidden from most of mankind or just unknown by most everyone at present.
So, the present path (especially with Trump as president) is the most ignorant path the world has been on since I was born before the turn of the mid twentieth century.
So, will human survive the present path they are on?
No!
But, could they modify their path so at least some of mankind will survive it?
Yes. This is likely. But it is also likely that humans will reduce in numbers to at least 100 million total on earth before this happens and by then it might even be too late for all but 100,000 or so to survive it here on earth or on other planets suitable for the genetic engineering of humans to survive there.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
