I got this in a fortune cookie likely at a Chinese Restaurant and thought it was both profound and wonderful. Today I found this little strip of printed paper in my shaving kit while packing and realized I had to write about it.
While I was Home schooling my oldest children from 1980 to 1985 using the Oak Meadow School Independent study program which likely still is very reasonable and protects the parent from legal harm whether or not either of the parents have a teaching credential or not.

The true story I would like to share is a study that was done without the knowledge (at first of the teacher or teachers involved).
Here is what the researchers did.
They took the grades of a class of kids (A through F) for everyone in the class. Then they decided to trick the teacher by telling them that all the F students were A students the year before and all the A Students were F students the year before.
And what happened. The ones the teachers expected to be A students WERE STILL A students and the ones the teachers EXPECTED to be F students were still F students (even though the opposite was actually true the year before.
PROVING: We all are geniuses if we are given even 1/2 a chance.
No one is a dunce they are made dunces by the people around them!
We are all geniuses or potential geniuses always!
