What is the point of being spiritually motivated?

If we are talking about spiritual motivation this does not automatically mean you believe in God because Buddhists are also spiritually motivated and I can tell you from experience that they do not necessarily believe in God but I do.

I remember being in Bodhgaya, India on the river there in December 1985 with 500,000 mostly Tibetan Buddhists from many different countries including Tibet, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and many others. People who came from Tibet wouldn't likely be allowed back into Tibet ever at that point either by China. So, it was a sacrifice for them to leave their country for the last time just to go to the Kalachakra Tantric initiation with the Dalai Lama then.

But, the real point of being spiritually motivated is to be able to sleep at night because you are at peace with yourself and right with the world. Being able to live with yourself is important because if you can't you usually don't for very long.

So, having peace and integrity and to be prepared for your death at all moments is a very peaceful place to be because you have been straight with  yourself and all life around you and acting like a father or mother or grandfather or grandmother to all beings you encounter.

There is great peace and clarity and hope in this.

This is why you want to be spiritually motivated because peace and integrity with all life in the universe is likely the most important thing you will ever do in your life.

By the way I do believe in God and I am a Mystical Christian and I also believe in Buddhism.

25% of all Buddhists believe in God by the way.

God is where you find Him.

Buddha is where you find Him.

Both of these things are true.

By God's Grace
