Abandoned Apollo 17 lunar lander module is causing...
I found this article quite amazing which goes to show just how spoiled we are here on planet earth because we likely couldn't survive on the moon most places unless we were living underground to shield us from the extreme cold and extreme hot (regarding places where the sun hits part of the time.
The fact that the Apollo 17 lunar lander going through these heat changes would be causing "Tremors" on the moon is quite something to take in intellectually. I think the closest places to this would likely be in deserts here on earth where temperatures might swing 100 degrees in one day. I think Death Valley or sometimes places like Palm Springs or nearby there might do this.
But, in the summer swings of 30 degrees or more are quite common in palm springs where you might have 125 to 130 degrees in the full day light and at night by morning it might go to 90 to 100 degrees after reaching 100 by midnight. I have experienced this myself where I went to a movie at a mall called "The River" near palm springs and then got out of the theater at midnight and it still was 100 degrees at midnight and I had to start up the car to turn the air conditioner on before I wanted to get inside the car (even at midnight there).
