Recently I was watching war footage from the front in Eastern Ukraine and was kind of horrified to see basically nothing left alive, not even a tree still standing from artillery and missiles and drones and other fragmentation devices of various kinds.
The footage looked like the horrific images of World war I where millions died in trenches with nothing but artillery craters and barbed wire fences on the surface of the land above the trenches people were fighting out of and in.
