The British man who plowed into a crowd leaving prayers at a London mosque had previously been kicked out of a pub for cursing Muslims and allegedly called a Muslim boy “inbred” in the days before his attack.
Darren Osborne, a 47-year-old father of four from Wales, was identified by British media Monday as the country recovers from what the country’s authorities are treating as the third terrorist incident in less than a month.
At least nine people were injured as his van crashed into the area outside the Finsbury Park mosque just after midnight, when witnesses said the driver screamed that he wanted to kill Muslims.

Regular customers at the pub near his home said that he was kicked out of the establishment on Saturday night because “he was cursing Muslims and saying he would do some damage.”
His next-door neighbors, who are Muslim, said that Osborne had approached their 12-year-old son in the road and called him “inbred” this past weekend.

Police have said that it is believed the middle-aged man, who neighbors say recently separated from the mother of his children, acted alone, and there is no known link to any far-right organization.

The State Department said Monday that is "strongly condemns last night's attack that appears to have targeted Muslim worshippers in London ... The United States stands in solidarity with the United Kingdom in the face of this terrorist attack and emphasizes our shared resolve to counter the plague of terrorism."
