This has been a really awful summer for everyone from about Redding to the north and to the east of there. Smoke has been found all the way east in Maine and the East Coast in general from the fires in Redding and the Clear Lake ARea which I think is now called the Mendicino Complex fire which is the biggest I believe in the states history regarding area burned which is 300,000 acres or more as of now. Also, the Carr Fire is also still burning in the vicinity of Shasta Lake and Dam now.
Here is the latest site for the fire:https://mappingsupport.com/p2/gissurfer.php?center=40.635446%2C-122.509423&zoom=11&fire=CA%2CCarr
