Globalization is based upon Secular Humanism

Globalization is based upon Secular Humanism. Even though secular humanism sprang originally out of secular Christian thought in universities in Europe and America and other Christian nations and colonies throughout the world its basis keeps changing as Globalization now changes all aspects of life upon earth. The latest fundamentalist groups to fight Globalization are fundamentalist groups all over the world. So whether the fundamentalism is Islamic, Christian, Hindu or whatever, it is very natural that they would fight Secular Humanism because it erases the individuality of their cultures of thousands of years. So even the terrorist war is at its roots Islamic fundamentalism fighting the extinction of their individualism.

Whether you consider Globalization a good thing or bad thing or whether you see it as both good and bad as I do, you have to admit if you were raised in a fundamentalist culture you would be pretty angry at what is happening in your localised culture on earth right now.

Globalization in the end is based upon financial power and financial control of resources. So, because oil is the single most powerful resource at present on the planet we find many odd things going on in regard to oil and globalization at present on the planet.

Let me give three examples of what I'm talking about. The first and most blatant example of the problem we see in Darfur. Darfur is basically Islamic Fundamentalists in Sudan who control the oil interests there genociding animist blacks to control the oil. This is made worse by China's business dealings with the genociders in Sudan.

Next, we have 9-11 that was caused by 15 out of 16 perpetrators being Saudi nationals. If Saudi Arabia didn't have the most oil on earth right now we all know it would have become naturally a nuclear crater within one year of that event given the way the world is at present.

And last we have Chavez in Venezuela, who has nationalized all the oil in Venezuela. He is a champion of the "little Guy" in Venezuela but a thorn in the side of Democracies all over the world. So it will be interesting if the secular humanism of international law will favor in the end Chavez's approach or Exxon and Conoco Phillips approach to the situation. Knowing what I do about the real world I think it depends upon whether Chavez actually cuts off oil to the United States. If he cuts off oil to the United States I think we might see US Soldiers there as commandos either secretly or overtly within 5 to 10 years to get rid of Chavez. Also, there is the CIA.

I guess what I'm trying to say obliquely is that secular humanism is changing to fit a new world of sharia law, animists and even Catholic Animists of south American and Africa. All these cultures are changing the way Globalization has operated and will operate into the future. What an amazing and strange world we live in!
