Snow Destroys 1/10 of china's forests.

When I hear of news stories like this I find them hard to believe. I sometimes wonder if the forests were also cut down by totally desperate people not wanting to freeze to death also. However, in the end one must acknowledge that for whatever the reasons 1/10 of China's forests are gone after this one snow storm. What if they lose 1/10 of their forests every year the next 10 years from Global weather changes. What then?
