I was thinking today about this movie and how it likely was based upon how government psychics were actually trained at that time in the 1970s. There was such a craziness to the world in the late 1960s and on into the 1970s. Yes. The world is crazy now but in a different way than then. The problem with developing psychic gifts even if you are a natural latent gifted person is entirely motivation. In other words what are you going to do with that gift or gifts?
Without proper motivation at core it is all just something that will drive people insane or worse. Supernatural gifts are ONLY useful when used to benefit ALL beings. Otherwise, they are just a bad use of your time and will only get you into trouble.
Even if gifts are used defensively to protect oneself it needs to be because you are a valuable asset to all beings because you are moving towards enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. However, most people gifted or not never seem to get to this point. I think that is why almost all religions discourage people from developing their gifts. What is also strange to me about this is one's natural gifts tend to prove the compassionate tenets of almost all religions. So in a sense it is all a paradox that each being must ferret out for themselves. One feels if one is intelligent going through all this like one is in a maze and trying to find their way through to the other side. Now, this can either be a complete pain in the butt or it can be a fun chess game. Usually at different times in one's life it is both.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
