Blogging: Helping solve world problems

What is great about blogging for me is that I can try to help come up with good ideas to help solve problems worldwide or I can share and quote information that I feel people need to know about to make their lives more effective and meaningful worldwide.

It is difficult dealing with all the more personal problems in all our lives, friends and relatives dying of old age or accidents or illnesses. Marriages or relationships breaking up or breaking down. Children scattered to the winds because parents lives fall apart in a variety of ways.

So, as strange as this might sound to you it is relaxing for me to blog about a lot of it where I can apply my intuition and life experience and knowledge and wisdom to problems that I'm not personally dealing with in my everyday life that can be maddening.

For example, my wife getting a full knee replacement surgery that has been about 10 to 20 times or more hard than both of us were actually prepared for this summer.

Her physical therapists told her she really shouldn't try an overseas trip flying 11 or more hours yet either that we had tentatively planned for October either. So, these are the kinds of things like, "Well. Your right thigh is going to be swollen like that for a year. Your quality of life takes 4 months to return when your pain dissipates to where you feel like a normal human being again." And yes, it will be a year before your leg feels "normal" once again.

So, for me, blogging is very helpful in dealing with the more maddening aspects of life we all face. Does my wife regret her surgery. Not at all. She went to the best surgeon of his kind on the west coast that I know of. However, even then it is a very long and painful recovery. But, at least I'm not talking in my sleep about how I'm so incredibly upset that my wife is in pain 24 hours a day like I was in February while my wife listened to me as I went on and on.

Because I really can't remember being upset enough to talk in my sleep like that ever before in my life.

So, helping deal with problems that aren't personal problems for me but instead problems for the whole world to solve is much easier than dealing with other problems that might not have any present solution to them at all.  At least for now.
