Portland to Washington: An Easy drive

Yesterday we left Portland and headed up towards Washington and the Greater Seattle Area. Later next week we will also go up into Canada. Since I can't seem to type anything after the Google search stuff I decided to type more up here. It was a nice day of temperatures with a sunny relatively clear day of 73 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit all along the way. I was relieved to get as far as Seattle so I can rest a bit. I have been traveling some every day except 1 full day since Monday to get here so I'm kind of tired because I'm in my mid 60s. So, this is the first full day of rest because even the day off we had to drive 2 hours  there and back to visit friends nearby Portland so that was tiring too. So, just kicking back and not doing much but blogging and watching the news today I'm very relieved to do in my hotel room here.  It's presently about 72 degrees here in Seattle at almost 3pm PDT.
