I kind of sensed I was going to have to do this because even though you can (I found this week) sucessfully blog in Safari without a lot of the problems I find I have in Google Chrome, Firefox is generally still the best Browser to be in if you are going to be blogging specifically from using blogger.com and their software like I am on an old or new Macbook pro laptop. The thing is compatibility. So much you do as a blogger is now automatic that you have to find compatible systems in place that won't interfere with each other or even sort of kill each other.
Without finding some sort of compatible systems in place you cannot successfully blog. The problem I encountered right now was not being able to change font size after I quoted something that changed my font size really really small. When I researched the problem I found there is no way to change font size back once it becomes small in Safari which is a real problem for bloggers like myself who often quote various sources which might at times use very small print.
So, this was the last straw for me downloading Firefox like I have on my older Macbook pro for blogging. However, I had to delete firefox on my wife's computer completely because of a rogue browser I mistakenly downloaded from Amtrak that hijacks your browser system. So now, if I go on my wife's computer I have to use Google Chrome which has many problems when I use it with the blogger.com website I blog from.
Anyway, if you are a blogger somewhere on earth and can understand English print or can run it through Google Translate I hope this was helpful to you.
The other problem I have been having on Safari is that (like Google Chrome) it often messes up the content I'm trying to share. So, even if I can make the word button for source work I can't often make the context of the article work too. So, you can see this with many articles today and yesterday when I couldn't make it work right and only a line or two shows up so you are forced to use the word button but that only works if you are in the right country to do that here on earth.
So, hopefully my download of the Firefox for Mac OS works because this is the very first article I'm publishing on my new Macbook pro on Firefox.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
