Three magnitude-4.0 earthquakes have rocked the top of the South Island this weekend.
They are thought to be aftershocks following the Kaikōura earthquake in November 2016.
All quakes had a depth of between 10-13km, and were centred near Seddon, in Marlborough.
Due to the magnitude, they have all been listed on GeoNet as moderate. There have been no reports of any damage or injuries, however.
In 2016, the top of the South Island was rattled by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake which forced a large part of State Highway 1 to close, as well as causing extensive damage to buildings and homes.
The damage it caused - including to Kaikōura's roads, rail and harbour - has cost New Zealand around $351 million to repair.
