The gif at the begining I was struck by just how alien it looks. However, volcanic activity is often alien like at night when lightning is striking upward from volcanoes.
However, when Mt. St. Helens went off that was pretty alien to for a couple of years after. Especially the purple, green and orange sunsets and blue sunsets that came from pyroclastic glass and other stuff resident in the air around the world. I lived in Mt. shasta then and the temperatures dropped about 10 degrees below normal year around even in the summers from everything in the air circling the globe then from half of the mountain going up into the atmosphere. The dust was so fine that it stayed aloft for two or more years changing weather and sunsets and temperature and sunrises.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
