Traditional Stone house in Himalayas with Slate roof

traditional old stone house in the Himalayan region of Nepal with stone roof Slate is usually quarried locally for the roof (as near Dharamshala) in India and hauled on the backs of donkeys to a site like this. Then rocks are gathered in that area to build the rock structures. but then again this is more traditional and this kind of construction was more common before 1950 or so.
