Because for a foreign agent to succeed at an assassination you have about a 1 to 5% chance that they would be successful at this because of U.S. Counterintelligence forces nationwide and worldwide and other countries helping gather information all the time.
So, you would need someone really stupid or who really wants to die wh is suicidal and most of these people would be amateurs. Also, an amateur would be off the radar of International Counterintelligence forces who might find anyone professional before they could act against a U.S. president like ex-president Trump or or present president Biden. However, Iran just wants to keep Trump so freaked out he cannot function right anyway so he loses the election which appears to be happening also. So, to Iran it is less important whether any assassin succeeds and more important that Trump is too messed up to function right. I think they might have already succeeded in this because Trump is soooo Old and his Game is soooo off since the last sniper shot at him and nearly took off his whole ear and head. So, I believe Iran has already succeeded in freaking out a narcissist like Trump who already has a lot of psychological problems just like Hitler did too to begin with.
