140 million Americans just got hacked through equifax

Personal information including their social security numbers have been lost to hackers through Equifax which is a credit assessing information bureau (one of three major ones in the U.S.)

This included: Names, addresses, social security numbers, birth dates and drivers' licenses

In addition to this 209,000 credit card numbers were stolen as well.

I'm watching this right now on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt on Thursday September 7th 2017.

So, if I'm reading this right, this would be every household in the U.S. just got hacked. Though there are over 300 million people in the U.S. this number likely would be every household in the U.S. or every working or retired adult in the U.S. because not everyone works or has an income because some wives and some husbands don't work and children don't work. So, this number likely is every working member or retired member of every household in the U.S. that would have a credit rating.

The three most likely places that caused this hack would be Russia, North Korea or China and would have been done directly by their governments. If so, this likely will be considered an "ACT OF WAR" against the U.S. and a direct attack upon the financial workings of the whole U.S. by a foreign power!

Why would this be done?

Possibly to blackmail the government into keeping Trump in power by especialy Russia.

Or in the case of North Korea, a way to siphon U.S. funds to do business around the world.

And in the case of China: I"m not sure about this because the U.S. is their number one trading partner."

So, because of this, the most likely causes would be Russia and North Korea.
