I was thinking about this today. Car manufacturers haven't planned for these deaths yet. But, they will. It's sort of like when lead was put into Gas. I guess they figure "What people don't know won't hurt them?" The Car manufacturers of Course.
The problem with electric cars is Electrical Coronas from large generators on Hybrids and electric motors on Hybrids and all Electrics. So, it is possible that all Electric Cars are actually safer than hybrids because you don't get hit twice with Electrical Coronas like you do from a hybrid. If you actually wanted to cheaply protect yourself from a hybrid or all electric vehicle you could "I was thinking sit on a leaded dental x-ray apron, put another one over you and then line a motorcycle helmet with a part of one and wear this leaded helmet while you drove a hybrid or all Electric. This might protect you the most even though other drivers might laugh at you for doing this. However, this would be the cheapest way to protect yourselves from the electrical coronas. It is similar to when radio wires in cars were not shielded and whenever you went under 50,000 volts in a powerline (major transmission lines between large cities usually) your radio would make a lot of noise and you couldn't hear music or talking. This is what I'm talking about that larger electric motors and electric generators create like the size you have in electric cars and hybrids. This large field electrical Coronas aren't going to kill you over night. Just like the radiation and fields around your smartphone or cell phone aren't going to kill you overnight either. In the case of your smartphone or cell phone (if you read the small print) you aren't supposed to have ANY cell phone or smart phone within a 1/4 inch of your flesh because your flesh will burn and you will be disfigured. This is in the warnings on every cell phone in the United States (in the small print by the way. So, what I do is to wear my cell phone (smartphone) in my left front pocket first putting my wallet against my skin and then putting my smartphone on top of this to avoid burning my flesh and being disfigured. Before I did this my left thigh hurt a lot and I wondered why until I read this.
In 1995, leaded fuel accounted for only 0.6% of total gasoline sales and less than 2000 short tons (1814 t) of lead per year. From 1 January 1996, the U.S. Clean Air Act banned the sale of leaded fuel for use in on-road vehicles.
