Who you are is more important than what you do

What do i mean by this?

Let's look at Brandon in "Game of Thrones". He's paralyzed from the waist down because Cersei had Jaima throw him out of a window because he caught this brother and sister doing it. Why is Brandon staying alive so important in this series?

Because as far as I can tell he's the only one alive who can see things before they happen at a distance. Having this information is a matter of life or death for nations.

So, who you are is more important than what you do. But, sometimes it is who you are and THEN What you do.

Without what Brandon knows in the hands of the right people Cersei might win and even then she might win if Brandon dies.

So, being in the right place at the right time all the time like Jesus and Buddha and other Saints allows you to be and by being in the right place at the right time you become valuable to everyone somewhat in the same direction as Jesus and Buddha.
