Most people would have just become long term investors and managed their estate and lived whatever lives they wished in any part of the world if they were given 100 plus million dollars by their father like Donald Trump was.
But, to really understand what makes "The Donald" tick you have to look beyond this to some degree and that this is someone who loves fame like a Rock Star. So, maybe the rock star addage is the best here.
Plus, Donald Trump really enjoys making deals that make him and his many companies more money. And Donald Trump loves being in business with his kids. His children and grandchildren it seems are everything to him which is a good thing. Because only a man who values family and nation should be president. And I am convinced at this point that Trump does value Family and nation over everything else at this point. Why would anyone suffer through the campaign with all the slings and arrows otherwise. I was looking at Hillary Clinton at the inauguration and it was sort of like she had died and was just resurrected for the inauguration. It has taken such a toll on Bill and Hillary.
And it is about to take a toll on Donald Trump. He must realize by now he might either die of old age in office or die shortly after his 4 or 8 years there. It's really hard to say but one thing is clear. He is the oldest U.S. president to ever take office.
Reagan was 69 when he entered the office of presidency on January 20th 1981 by the way.
So, you know a sitting president tends to be a "Workaholic" because this is a 24 hour a day job where they are going to wake you up when crises begin in the U.S. and around the world.
Because you have to be "Problem solver" in Chief as a U.S. President.
Is Trump up to this job?
We will have to see. I think history will judge him best not us at this point. Just as history will judge best Obama, Bush and Bill Clinton before him.
But, with Donald Trump we all need to "Expect the unexpected" because this is just how he rolls.
Donald Trump is like no president since Andrew Jackson and that comparison doesn't really work because Jackson was both a General and a Judge before he became president of the United States.
And both were and are incredibly pragmatic men.
In my own life I had a lot of difficulty surviving as an adult until I went beyond idealism to pragmatism.
So, I personally believe firmly in "Compassionate Pragmatism".
IF Donald Trump demonstrates "Compassionate Pragmatism" then I will be very happy about this presidency despite all that has come before.
So, I'm hoping for a proponent of "Compassionate Pragmatism" as the next president of the United States in Donald Trump.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
