It is always important to remember that until the human race is completely extinct here on earth there is always hope. As long as there are enough breeding pairs of humans willing to raise any kids they have there is still hope for the human race and we won't go extinct. Whole nations, whole tribes have been killed down to the very last man, woman or child many many times before. There is still hope.
As crazy or as insane as this new president is most of us likely will find a way to survive him. I'm not as sure for other nations as I am for America. Trump is so chaotic however, I'm not sure America can survive Russia or China or that Europe will survive Trump or that the Middle East will survive Trump.
But, somehow America WILL survive Trump of that I am sure if we aren't directly attacked by Russia or China.
Terrorists might be a problem for the U.S. under Trump because he is so disorganized and paranoid regarding our intelligence community and just might reorganize himself into something much worse than 9-11 happening here or in Europe.
This first year with Trump likely is going to be as bad or worse than the first week or so has been with him. After that, I'm not sure how it is going to go.
But, keeping enough in cash might save you one of these days when ATMs and Banks close for one reason or another. Being prepared for anything like a good Boy or Girl Scout likely will be something that makes the difference between survival or not for most Americans during these times.
During the next 4 years at least nothing will be safe.
So, at least as long as there are enough humans left on earth there is always hope for some future.
Expecting this you will be better prepared for anything that comes.
